SAHIWAL – Two accused murderers were taken away from the police custody in an attack on the police van by the 3 companions in Sahiwal, which are now being reported to have been killed in a police encounter near Kassowal.
The accused were being taken to the Anti-Terrorism Court Multan for the hearing when the incident occurred.
It is reported that two unidentified miscreants attacked police van at Chak 138-9/L while it was on its way to the Anti-Terrorism Court Multan.

Two police officials were injured in the attack that was transferred to the nearby District Hospital for immediate treatment.
The police had started search operation in the nearby areas for the quick arrest of fugitives immediately after the attack.
The escaped criminals along with three adherents have been reported to be killed in a police encounter in Sahiwal at place of Kassowal
