SAHIWAL – Two accused murderers were taken away from the police custody in an attack on the police van by the companions in Sahiwal on Thursday.
The accused were being taken to the Anti-Terrorism Court in Multan for the hearing.
It is reported that two unidentified miscreants attacked police van at Chak 138-9/L while it was on its way to the Anti-Terrorism Court, Multan.
Two police officials injured in the attack which have been transferred to the District Hospital.
Police has started search operation in the nearby areas for the quick arrest of fugitives.
