Funeral prayers of Azam Khan Hoti performed in Mardan

PESHAWAR: The Funeral ceremony of the ANP’s senior Leader, Azam Khan Hoti, has been performed at in Mardan, Peshawar.

Many renowned politicians took part in its funeral Prayer. People have gathering in a huge number at the Funeral place. High security measures were taken due to the volatile security climate of the area.

The senator and senior leader of Awami National Party (ANP), Azam khan Hoti, died today at the age of 69.

He was a famous personality of Mardan and also the father Amir Haider Hoti who was the chief minister of KPK in previous tenure. Azam Khan was renowned with the name of ‘BABA’ in Mardan.

He has also been the minister of communication in Nawaz Shrif’s both tenures of prime ministership.

He was elected as a senator in 2012, and before this, in 1993 he was also the member of senate. Azam Khan Hoti was the bother of Begium Naseem Wali and the uncle of Asfand Yar Wali.
