Karachi – Famous TV Actor Shamoon Abbasi said that the initiation of private sector to encourage artists by distributing awards is a very positive step, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
The actor expressed that Launching Award ceremonies abroad would be tantamount in identifying Pakistani dramas in a new light.
‘Success of Pakistani movies are very much welcomed. Lollywood is making good films.’, He added.
He also stated that Pakistani viewers are giving priority to domestic films in place of Indian movies that is very encouraging.
‘ The film industry has been revolutionized. TV artist are giving their best to the movies’, He said.
While talking about his role in films he said that People are now saying that Pakistani Film industry has found a good hero-cum-villain in the form of Shamoon Abbasi.
 He expressed these views while giving an interview, he also told that Pakistani films successes as compared to Indian films are encouraging filmmakers. Government should also support filmmakers and artists.
 He also told:
‘I am busy in making my own film ‘Gidh’. Leading model ” Saima Azhar ‘will be featured in the main role. No creator can tolerate the interference of distributor in the film. The Australian film company has offered a movie to me. Faisal Qureshi, will alos work with me in the said project’
