Rebels withdraw from Aden palace after Saudi-led coalition’s air raids

SANAA: Yemen senior official said that Houthi rebels has withdrawn from Yemeni President Abedrabbo Mansour Hadi’s palace following Saudi led collation raided the place over night, AFP reported on Friday.

According to the official who identity requested not to show his name, Saudi-led coalition has got control over Aden early Friday after overnight raid.

The rebels had seized the hilltop complex a day earlier after fierce fighting with supporters of Hadi, who has taken refuge in Saudi Arabia.

“The Houthi militia and their allies withdrew before dawn from the Al-Maashiq palace,” said the official in Aden.
