LAHORE: As many as 14 people were dead while 70 people were injured in two blasts at a church situated in Youhanabad, local media reported on Sunday.
According to details, the blast occurred during the prayers in the church which killed 14 people on the spot.
Rescue teams rushed the sited and started shifting the injured to the hospital. At least 10 injured were shifted to General hospital.
However the witness said that these were two suicide blast while they also captured a mysterious person and found a pistol from him.
Locals were not allowing police or any other security force to visit the site.
Following the attack on church mayhem reigned in Lahore as enraged mob lynching two suspects to death, while scores protested against the government for not providing enough security.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Jammatul Ahrar claimed responsibility for the attacks.
The mob also attacked Metro bus terminal.
Water cannons have arrived at Firozpur Road to disperse the enraged mob.
