Wasim Akram suggests Pakistan to opt for bat first in remaining matches of World Cup

SYDNEY: Pakistan former captain Wasim Akram has termed bowling potential of the green shirts as real power.

Commenting on private news channel of future strategy of Pakistan in upcoming matches of the World Cup he said that Pakistan should opt for  bet first as the green shirts appeared as having strong bowling line up in the match against South Africa on last Saturday.

Stated to be king of swing he said that Sohaib Maqsood and Umar Akmal have to do lot of work on batting technique.

The former skipper suggested Pakistan to chose bat first if they win toss.

It is pertinent to mention here that crucial match against South Africa all Pakistani pacers, Wahab Riyaz, Muhammad Irfan, Rahat Ali and Sohail Khan showed their best performance helped Pakistan to win the match by 29 runs.

Wahab Riyaz, Muhammad Irfan, Rahat Ali had taken three wickets each in the crucial match.

Pakistan will face Ireland on March 15.
