Bill Gates telephones Imran Khan to offer condolence over Peshawar massacre

ISLAMABAD: One of the most billionaire person of the World Bill Gates on Tuesday night telephoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to express his condolence over the barbaric attack on Peshawar Army Public School in December.

Bill Gates said that the Peshawar attack was painful and expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic incident.

The world billionaire also talked about rampant polio disease in the country and praised ‘Alliance for Health’ campaign for polio in Khyber PakhtunKhwa.

Gates said that 80% cases of polio around the world have been reported in Pakistan but added that  positive results have emerged with the alliance for health campaign in the KP.

The billionaire paid rich tribute to the PTI chief and Jehangir Tareen for fight against polio in the KP.

He also thanked provincial minister of KP Shahram Tarkaye over successful polio campaign in the province.

Gates said that polio campaign in Karachi is not satisfactory adding that he will provide every possible help to Pakistan for eradication of the polio from the country.

On the occasion the PTI chief said that he shook hands with his political rival Nawaz Sharif for the future of Pakistani children after the barbaric attack on the APS.

Imran said that it seemed that only the PTI government in KP was paying attention against the polio menace.
