WELLINGTON: England are all set to take on the hosts New Zealand in their second match of World Cup 2015 which is scheduled to be played at Wellington Regional Stadium on Friday February 20.
England who were out classed in all departments by Australia now all set to take on second biggest challenge of the tournament so far.
This will be the third match for the hosts who haven’t been defeated yet in pool stage of this World Cup.
New Zealand have defeated Sri Lanka in their opener while they defeated Scotland in their next game.
Both team met each other seven time at World Cup stage in which New Zealand has the upper hand with four victories while England settled with three.
New Zealand will have the support of experienced Daniel Vettori heading the spin department and the accuracy and consistency of Tim Southee, Trent Boult, Kyle Mills and Mitchell McClenaghan makes the bowling formidable.
And having match-winners with the bat like McCullum, Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor, as well as the explosive Corey Anderson, who can all single-handedly change the course of a game, only adds to its strength as a team.
On the other hand England have the support of Joe Root, skipper Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler who can take the game away from the opposition. Ian Bell will be the key for England at the top order with young Moeen Ali.
