KABUL: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani appreciated improving relations between the two countries in a meet up held in Afghanistan, DG ISPR said on his tweets.
Earlier the COAS has reached Kabul for one day visit along with Director General (DG) Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

Both the leaders also pledged to continue operations on respective sides and reiterated a resolve that they  would not allow use of soil against each other.
The DG ISPR also tweeted that the Army Chief also called on Afghanistan Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah.

In the meeting the Afghan CEO acknowledged positive trajectory in bilateral relations   between the two countries.
Abdullah also recognized concrete progress made in operations, border management and intelligence sharing.
