MQM delegation calls on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Wednesday called on Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.

The delegation, which was comprising senior MQM leaders, apprised the minister about the reservations of the party over the law and order situation in the mega city.

The Minister held out assurances to the MQM leaders that the federal government would take appropriate measures to improve law and order situation in the city. MQM sources said that the minister also assured the delegation to open a passport office in Nazimabad.

They added that the minister took notice of the alleged extra-judicial killing of party workers in Karachi.
