Pakistan face huge 119 runs defeat against New Zealand in 2nd ODI

NAPIER: New Zealand have defeated Pakistan by 119 runs in 2nd One Day International (ODI) played at Mclean Park.

Pakistan were all out onĀ  250 runs chasing down the huge total of 369 runs.Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shahzad provided a brilliant century start but rest of the team unable to carry on.

Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq played a vital innings of 45 but felt short form the big total as whole team was all out on 250 runs in 43.1 overs.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat, as Kane Williamson smoked 112 of 88 delivers with Ross Taylor followed up with 102 on 70 balls leading the side to massive total of 369 runs on loss of five wickets.

Martin Guptill played a brilliant innings of 76 runs for the host.

Mohammad Irfan who was hammered in last over manage to picked up two wickets for Pakistan.
