According to some sources, Younis has made up his mind and he will soon announce his retirement from this format of the game.
Earlier, in 2009 he was skipper of the team who had lifted the Twenty 20 (T20) World Cup. Following that victory, Khan took retirement from T20 internationals.
He wanted to give young blood a chance for playing in the national team, sources said.
Younis is backbone of Pakistan batting line-up in the world cup commencing next month. Earlier, he was kept away from ODI squad of Pakistan due to ‘internal politics’.
He just made a comeback in last series where he made a century and a few other good innings paving his way to the team for World Cup.
Pakistan Cricket Team has left for the New Zealand for the ODI series and then World Cup next month.
