PM cancels Switzerland visit

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday cancelled his scheduled visit to Switzerland, local media reported.

The PM had to leave to attend world economic forum meeting on January 22 for three days.

The report said that the PM office has confirmed that the PM cancelled his visit to Switzerland.

Sources said that the premier has cancelled his visit to European country due to avoidance of any new crisis in the country as country is facing with petrol crisis which emerged when the PM was on his visit to Saudi Arabia.

Earlier a report was also presented in the parliament that the PM has visited 18 to 19 countries since coming into the power and never left foreign visits unattended which also caused heavy expenditure to national exchequer, Dawn News reported.
