LONDON: Pakistan’s military head, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, arrived in London for three-day official visit to the United Kingdom (UK).
General Raheel Sharif was attended by the Pakistani High Commissioner to the UK Syed Ibne Abbas on London airport, local media reported on Wednesday.
The Pakistani military chief would hold meetings with his counter-part and political leadership during the three-day visit.
The army chief is visiting the Britain when NATO mission has ended up in Afghanistan and US forces also left Afghanistan just slight number of 9800 US troops will remain in Afghanistan.
Earlier on November 16, General Raheel Sharif had visited Pakistan’s strategic partner, United States of America (USA), to hold political and military leadership.
He also paid visit to the US Central Command Headquarters in Florida and discussed Afghanistan issues with high-level army officials. General Raheel Sharif was also called on by US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel in Pentagon, Washington.
