MUMBAI: Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan has also turned out to be one of the fans of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who is going to teem -up with SRK in upcoming Bollywood movie Raees.
Raees will be directed by Rahul Dholakia, and will star Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and the critically acclaimed Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
According to a report in Hindustan Times is impressed with the cast and says that he will now have to perform as well as his co-star Mahira Khan.
Shahrukh said at the launch of Dabboo Ratnani’s annual calendar: “Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mahira Khan are there in the film (Raees). Both of them are very accomplished actors. I think the cast is really wonderful. Now I would have to excel and perform like them.”
The actor is set to join the film’s shoot by the end of March.
Mahira, who shot to fame with her monumental role in Pakistani television show Humsafar, will be playing the female lead in the movie.
