Man attempts to commit self-immolation at PM House gate

ISLAMABAD: A man attempted to commit self-immolation near Prime Minister’s House gate, here on Wednesday.

According to report, a man attempted to set himself on fire outside the gate No-II of Prime Minister’s House, Islamabad.

People present at the scene stopped the man from self-immolation. Later police took the man into custody and registered FIR for suicide attempt.

A policeman said that the man, who was identified as Muhammad Fida, pours petrol on himself and tried to set himself on fire. In the meantime, a police man present there overpowered him.
