Sindh Police announces new appointments for 25,000 policemen

KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali announced that 25,000 new vacancies have been opened after approval of new appointments by the provincial government.

Barrier on new appointments in Sindh Police has been removed via opening 25,000 vacancies in the law enforcement agency, Ghulam Haider Jamali announced on Friday.

IG Police Sindh while talking to reporters said that new appointments will be made around the Sindh province in two phases.

Moreover, Jamali sought recommendations from the concerned institutions for removal of bus terminal situated in densely populated Lines Area of Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.

He said that the bus terminal was causing major traffic jam in the metropolis. Jamali also indicated to end illegal encroachments in the city.
