Aerial firing on New Year night injures eight in Karachi

KARACHI: As many as eight people were injured on Wednesday-Thursday night due to aerial firing on the New Year eve, police said.

According to the police, people were injured in aerial firing in areas of Jamshed Quarters, Malir, New Karachi, Lyari, Sheerien Jinnah Colony, Hydery and Sadar Town.

Overall the aerial firing on the New Year night reported in whole of city, Korangi, Landhi, North Nazimabad, Defence, Clifton, North Karachi, Shah Faisal Colony, Mahmoodabad and in other areas of city.

It is now routine on the New Year night like others cities of world people resorted to aerial firing in celebration of New Year.
