ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government on Tuesday decided for major action against the welfare organisations empowering terrorists in the country.
Pakistan took a number of decision during a high-level meeting chaired by the Finance Minister Ishaq Dar with agenda to blocking financial hubs of terrorists.
The meeting was attended by high-level officials of State Bank of Pakistan, NACTA and several legal experts who joined their heads in Islamabad.
Welfare organisations that were found involved in supporting terrorists in the country will face severe action by the federal government, one of major decisions taken during the meeting. Moreover, such suspicious organisations would came under thorough monitoring by the federal government in a bid to root out terrorism.
Ishaq Dar said that there was a prior need to maintain strong contacts between federal and all provincial governments with security and intelligence agencies of the country.
