ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday chaired a high meeting regarding implementation of National Action Plan against terrorism approved by All Parties Conference and issued directives to Attorney General and others to immediately start work on constitutional amendments and legislation required for implementation of the action plan.
According to a private TV channel, the meeting was held at Prime Minister’s House, which was also attended by Attorney General for Pakistan, federal ministers and legal advisers and constitutional experts.
The Prime Minister said that he would go to each province to review implementation on the National Action Plan. He said that it was necessary to stand by the intelligence and law enforcement agencies for success of the plan.

He also constituted a high-level committee to review progress and implementation on the Action Plan. The committee which will be headed by the prime minister himself, will comprise Federal  Ministers Pervez Rashid, Sartaj Aziz, Khwaja Asif, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Ahsan Iqbal.
Commenting on the occasion, the prime minister said that today’s Pakistan is a altogether different Pakistan and after the national consensus on the action plan it was our responsibility to implement is in letter and spirit.
Nawaz resolved to root out terrorism from Pakistan for forever.
