LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan on Thursday said that Pakistan was making maximum efforts for encouraging women cricketers.
Shaharyar Khan announced that special stadiums will be establishment for women cricketers in major cities of the country.
PCB chairman while talking to reporters said that the board was trying to host foreign cricket teams in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan, in order to resume international cricket.
Kenyan cricket team showed complete satisfaction over security arrangements in the country, Shaharyar claimed.
He further said that PCB do not allow anyone to hold dual responsibility, however, prominent decisions will be taken after upcoming Cricket World Cup 2015 (CWC15) against the persons that were performing duties on dual posts. The board will name team manager before January 7, 2014.
While commenting over fate of banned Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez, PCB chairman clarified that Ajmal and Hafeez’s inclusion in CWC15 squad was restricted to their clearance of their official bowling action test.
