PUNE: Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt has been granted a 14-day temporary release by the authorities of Yerwada Central Jail allowing him to cheer upcoming Christmas.
‘Policegiri’ lead actor sought furlough on upcoming Christmas which was sanctioned yesterday by the jail authorities for 14 days.
Dutt expressed his happiness over issuance of temporary release orders, said, ‘I was looking forward to today and being with family during Christmas. Furlough is the right of prisoners. We get it every year and I am just making use of our right.’
The actor revealed that he has lost over 18 kilos in prison as he has reportedly spent over 18 months in the jail.
