Lahore police demands 100 vehicles from govt for better security

LAHORE: Lahore police has demanded 100 more vehicles from government for improving the existing security arrangements.

 According to details, DIG operation has sent the summary to Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif for purchase of 100 more vehicles for Lahore police.

Lahore Police said that there is need of more coordinated system of patrolling in Lahore after the Peshawar tragedy, saying that there is shortage of vehicles with the Lahore police.
The police said that the vehicles which they have are in poor condition and patrolling job is being affected due to this reason and therefore, Lahore police should be provided 100 more vehicles.
After the approval of the summary, 100 more double-cabin vehicles will be purchased for Lahore police.
