If govt can’t stop CDA employee Maulana Abdul Aziz how it can fight terrorism: Aitzaz

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in Senate Senator Aitzaz Ahsan on Tuesday said that how a government which could not stop its employee from justifying the massacre of school children fight terrorism in the country.

Speaking in the upper house of the Parliament, the senior PPP leader said that an employee of Capital Development Authority’s (CDA), Maulana Abdul Aziz, was justifying massacre of school children and the government was helpless in stopping him, then how the government could fight and win the war against terrorism.

Aizaz said that some 90 percent seminaries had nothing to do with terrorism, but the issue was with the remaining 10 percent which promoted terrorism and extremism in the country.

The PPP leader criticised MQM chief Altaf Hussain for calling to raze Lal Masjid, saying that mosques are built not razed.
