Shahid Afridi announces ODIs retirement after World Cup 2015

LAHORE: Pakistani star allrounder, Boom Boom Shahid Afridi, stunned everyone on Sunday via formally announcing his retirement from One Day International (ODI) format cricket after Cricket World Cup 2015.

Just like his aggressive batting and bowling styles, Afridi stunned everyone with sudden announcement on the weekend when mostly people are sitting after TV sets in their homes.

The star allrounder told his future plan, said that he would continue career struggle by playing Twenty20 format matches for Green Shirts.

Afridi expressed thoughts for his willingness to join politics and become a politician, but he was ‘stopped by elders to do so.’

However, the career of the player is not over as he would continue entertaining his millions of lovers around the world via storming sixes and fours for which he got famed for having the eligibility to turn the match situation regardless of any condition.

Earlier in 2010, Shahid Afridi had made the decision that seemed inevitable from the day he took over as Test captain, by announcing his Test retirement immediately after leading his side to a 150-run loss against Australia at Lord’s.
