Roadside bombing claims seven lives in Kunar – Afghanistan

KUNAR: At least seven persons including children were killed while three women sustained injuries in a roadside bomb blast in Asadabad, the capital city of Afghanistan’s Kunar province on late Saturday, foreign news agency reported.

A roadside bomb struck a pickup truck with several persons on board that killed at least seven including two little girls, officials said.

The unlucky passenger vehile was moving towards Nari district situated near Pakistani border.

Nari police chief Mohammad Yousuf blamed Taliban for the violent attack while Mohammad Rahman Danish, the district chief of Nari also confirmed the incident.

However, Afghan Taliban leadership has not claimed responsibility of the attack as far.
