Sirajul Haq cancels planned public meetings in Karachi, Lahore

LAHORE: Pakistan largest religo-political party, Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) Ameer Sirajul Haq has cancelled his parties all planned political activities amid the gory terrorist attack on an army-run public school in Peshawar that claimed over 148 lives including 138 students.   

Sirajul Haq announced to postpone all political events of the party, which ware scheduled for this week including the major public gathering in two provincial capitals of Pakistan, Lahore and Karachi.

It is to be mentioned here that the whole Pakistani nation plunged into mourning following the barbaric attack on a school in Peshawar.

JI had announced to hold central public meeting in Lahore and Karachi on December 21 and December 25 respectively.

However, JI Ameer delayed the public gathering till indefinite period in Karachi and Lahore where he scheduled to address JI general public meeting.
