LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan once again warned Jang and Geo owner Mir Shakil-ur-Rehman not to use his media group against wrong purposes.
The PTI chief was addressing to mammoth crowd in Lahore after day-long PTI protest and lock-down in Lahore.
He alleged the media group owner that ‘Mir Shakilur Rehman has taken money from Nawaz Sharif government to follow government agenda.’
The PTI chief warned that the media group should not use talented working journalist of his group against baseless and false propaganda against the PTI.
Imran where criticized Jang and Geo owner, he also praised the group’s working journalists.
It is pertinent to mention here that PTI was only party in the country who boycott Jang and Geo group against its irresponsible reporting on April 19 after attack on the group’s anchor Hamid Mir.
 The group aired then Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lt Gen Zaheerul Islam photograph on the screen and declared him responsible for attack on the journalist citing the journalist brother Amir Mir allegations.
The anti army transmission was aired on the tv on the day back to back eight hours.
