LAHORE: Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held meeting with Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Sunday.
PM Nawaz, CM Shahbaz exchanged their views on current political situation of the country besides discussing upcoming protests which was announced by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Lahore.
During the meeting, Pakistan PM said that the nationals would definitely be given relief of significant reduction in petroleum prices. He said that the government wanted to continue its development journey.
CM Punjab while briefing to the PM Nawaz assured making all measures to secure Punjab locals. He said that the government has responsibility to maintain law and order which would be fulfilled at any cost.
He alleged that few elements were spreading violence to accomplish their ulterior motives. He urged Punjab citizens and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) workers to stay calm against any inflammatory address and adopt patience over violence.
