One thing is common between both team is that they have defeated Netherlands in this competition. India defeat them in group matches while Pakistan gained first victory in the competition by defeating Netherlands and qualify for the semifinal.
Pakistan have won the title three times while settled with Pakistan silver medal on six occasions and bronze seven times. Pakistan captured their last Champions Trophy medal, a bronze, in the last edition held at Melbourne in 2012.
