SYDNEY: The Australian fast bowler Sean Abbott, whose delivery hit batsman Phillip Hughes that led to his death, is set to stage comeback to cricket after the tragic incident.
The young cricketer, who is going through a traumatic phase of his life after the death of Hughes, was on Monday in the squad of New South Wales.
There were widespread fear that the young cricketer might not be able to resume his cricketing career after being too traumatised after Hughes died from being hit by one of his bouncers at the Sydney Cricket Ground last month.
Abbot was included in a 12-man squad to play Queensland in a Sheffield Shield match  in Sydney from Tuesday.
Abbott attended Hughes’s funeral last week and many people around the cricket world have expressed solidarity with the 22-year-old following the freak accident.
