LONDON: A 23-year-old US woman mysteriously found dead on a United Airlines’ flight took off from London’s Heathrow Airport to New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport, reports said.
The flight administration declared her death when the flight UA115 was 75 minutes away from the Newark Airport airport while woman was citizen New Jersey and was travelling alone.
She was found unconscious when the plan had taken off before just before 6.45pm GMT (1.45 EST) while the flight’s doctor declared her dead at 1.30am GMT (8.30pm EST) after several attempts to resuscitate her.
Port Authority spokesman Joe Pentangelo told NorthJersey.com that the woman reportedly had pre-existing medical problems but no official confirmation has been made regarding her reason of death.
United Airlines issued a condolence statement for the deceased woman, but refused to comment further.
