Hughes’ death: 1st Test between Australia, India likely to be called off

SYDNEY: First Test between Australia and India is likely to be called off to mourn the death of Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes, local media reported on Thursday.

According to reports, the 1st Test is scheduled to begin from  December 4th in Brisbane.

Australia and India are  scheduled to play four Test matches series in December, however 1st Test is likely to be called off in the mourning of Hughes’s death.

The young cricketer died on Thursday after fighting for his life in coma for two days. He suffered head injury after miss-judging a bouncer.
