Governor KP telephones CM Sindh, discuss recovered girls of Bajaur issue

PESHAWAR: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sardar Mehtab Abbassi on Wednesday telephoned to Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Qaim Ali Shah over 26 recovered underage girls from Karachi.

The KP Governor said it must be assured that 26 girls from Bajour Agency be sent back to their houses safely and he has also sought report to Federal Administered Tribal Area (FATA) administration.

He also instructed the FATA administration to take immediate action against responsible in the matter.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) central Noman Siddique said that he has talked to the Governor KP over girls issue and girls will not be handed over to anyone except their parents.

The girls will be handed over to their brothers if parents not present, SSP central said.
