Federal govt did not provided funds, equipments to block illegal SIMS: Home Secretary Sindh

KARACHI: Home Secretary Sindh Dr Niaz Ali Abbassi has said that Federal Government did not provide funds and equipment required for blocking illegal SIMS.

He was talking to media after inaugurating IBIS machine, which is used for scanning bullets shell, at Garden Police Headquarters.

The secretary said that forensic lab was of vital importance for detecting criminals and eradicating crimes. Regarding law and order situation of Karachi, he said that there were some 900,000 illegal expatriates.

He said that to stop illegal weapons supply to mega city, check posts will be established at entry points.
