Suicide attack kills 53 in Afghanistan during volley ball match

KABUL: A powerful suicide bomb blast  in Afghanistan province of Paktika killed as many as 53 people on Sunday, media reported.

A suicide bomber blew himself up in volley ball tournament in a huge crowd at a ground in Yaha Khel district, killing as many as 53 spectators and more than 50 injured.

Afghan official said that most of the deceased were civilians.

The official said that people were gathered to watch final match of volley ball on Sunday that the suicide bomber detonated himself.
