Imran using public limited company plane illegally says Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan was running his political campaign by illegally using plane of a public limited Company.

Talking to media in a news conference in Islamabad on Sunday, he said Imran Khan was also committing a crime by concealing expenses occurring on the plane.

The Minister cited details that the plane belongs to JDW Public Limited Company and PTI Secretary General Jehangir Khan Tareen has minority 29.76 percent shares in the Company while shares of 70.24 percent were owned by financial institutions and individuals.

Pervaiz raised a question why PTI chief was  running his political campaign on public money.

The Minister  pointed out that a Public Limited Company cannot give contribution to any political party.

Talking about the PTI’s public meeting in Islamabad on 30th of this month, the Information Minister said no arrests will be made. He said government will exercise patience and tolerance as it does not believe in vendettas.
