PESHAWAR: At least three persons were killed in a US drone strike in the Dattakhel tehsil of North Waziristan tribal region, local media reported on Thursday.
Two missiles fired by a drone targeted a house and vehicle in Dattakhel tehsil, Express News reported.
The identities of those killed in the strikes have not yet been ascertained while no official confirmation has been made till yet.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the Pakistani troops launched its long-awaited major operation ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ in the tribal region a week after an attack on the airport in Karachi, deploying troops, tanks and jets to the area in the crackdown on the Taliban and other militants.
