Four more infants die in DHQ Sargodha

SARGODHA: Four more infants died in District Headquarter Hospital (DGQ) in Sargodha on Thursday bringing the death toll to 12 in last 24 hours.

The children died due to lack of proper treatment facilities at the DHQ hospital.

The parents of the deceased children claimed that their children died due lack of incubators and other facilities at the hospital. They added that they informed the situation to administration but they did not paid any heed to their complaints.

Medical Superintendent (MS) Doctor Iqbal Sami has confirmed the deaths and rejected parents complaints that the DHQ lacked facilities. He said that children were brought in serious conditions and the doctors tried their level best to save their lives.
