ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Sub-Committee of Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms would complete its work within next six to eight weeks.
The Minister was chairing 10th meeting of Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The meeting reviewed the progress so far made by the Sub-committee of the Parliamentary Committee which was chaired by the Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid.
Ishaq Dar said that the committee has completed work on delimitations, voter lists and reform in election commission adding that the committee has finalized election reforms for five laws.
While sub-committee has completed work on delimitations, voter lists, election commission order, amendments in laws for allotment of election symbols.
He also stated that the committee also started work on public representative act and senate elections.
