SC dismisses petitions filed in 1997, seeking to disqualify PM

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed three petitions filed in 1997, seeking to disqualify Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday, November 18.

According to reports, the three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk dismissed the petitions by declaring ineffective against PM.

The petitions were filed by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Babar Awan, Syed Iqbal Haider and Manzur Qadir.
