Babar Ghouri rules out possibility to join Sindh govt

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Leader Senator Babar Ghouri on Friday ruled out the possibility of MQM’s rejoining of PPP-led Sindh government.

Talking to media, Ghouri said that Sindh government had failed miserably at every front, saying that the Tharparker situation was the glaring example of this failure.

He said that the option of bringing a no-trust motion against chief minister Sindh was wide open.

Ghouri said that MQM was in touch with the federal government over the situation in Tharparker. He added that MQM wanted the prime minister to visit Thar as early as possible and order relief operation to save children dying of malnutrition.

It is to be mentioned here that last month, MQM parted ways with the PPP-led Sindh government against Bilawal Bhutto’s criticism of party chief Altaf Hussain.
