US provides vehicles, gadgets to Pakistan Customs to improve homeland security

ISLAMABAD: United States Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson on Thursday handed over as many as 80 vehicles, billet proof jackets, mobile laboratories, scanners and night vision goggles and glasses to Pakistan customs to improve homeland security.

The US Ambassador handed over the gadgets and vehiclesto Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) at a ceremony.

On the occasion, the ambassador said that Pakistan’s army was fighting war against terror valiantly and his country would continue to fully support Pakistan for complete eradication of terrorism.

He said that the gadgets will help in defusing explosives and stop trandportation of land mines.
