SL’s batting slip after India 404 in 4th ODI

KOLKATA: India thrashed Sri Lanka once again by big margin 153 runs in fourth One-Day Internationals (ODIs) at Eden Garden in Kolkata on Thursday, November 13.

Rohit Sharma’s double ton (264) helped India to score 404 runs target against Sri Lanka.

Indian captain Virat Kohli put his fabulous 66 off 109, hitting six boundaries.

Skipper Angelo Mathews made 79 runs, hitting a six and nine boundaries while Thirimanne scored 59 off 69, hitting a six and seven boundaries.

Medium pacer Dhawal Kulkarni took four wickets giving 33 runs in his 10 overs.

In the five match series, Sri Lanka have lost their all four matches. However, they have a chance to avoid with whitewash against India at their home.

Sharma got the ‘Man of the Match’ award and received Rs.1 million cheque for his brilliant and splendid double ton.

The fifth and decisive ODI match will be played between India and Sri Lanka on Sunday, November 16 in Ranchi.
