DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) Board on Monday approved significant changes in anti-corruption code, clearing the way for Pakistan banned pacer Muhammad Aamir to stage comeback to domestic cricket.
Seamer Mohammad Amir was banned and sent behind bars for spot fixing.
The changes said that guilty players be banned from International cricket only and should be allowed to feature in domestic contests while serving suspensions. The ICC Board approved the recommendations out forth by it executive committee, including in respect of a revised anti-corruption code and a revised ICC anti-doping code.
