Martyred in Wagah tragedy, woman officer of Pak Army got married five years ago

LAHORE: Martyred in Wagah border tragedy woman officer of Pakistan army Shumaila Nadeem had gotten married five years ago.

She was resident of Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan) and she cleared army commission exams in 2004 and joined Pakistan army medical core in 2009.

She was promoted to captain rank just three months ago and she was deputed to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi.

Shumaila had come to Lahore to visit her husband’s sister.

She along with her husband Nadeem, daughters 4-year old Hanya, six-months old Inaya and 14 year old niece Rimsha went to watch Wagah border parade on Sunday (yesterday) and unfortunate family did not come back.
