ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers will appear before National Assembly (NA) Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq with their resignations on Wednesday.
According to reports, PTI lawmakers will appear before NA speaker under the supervision of PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
The decision to appear in NA speaker office was made after the meeting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa house and Bani Gala resident of party chairman Imran Khan.
PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the decision to resign from the assemblies had been taken unanimously after threadbare deliberation over it in party meeting.
Meanwhile, PTI spokesperson Shireen Mazari said that the party chief Imran Khan had convened PTI’s parliamentary party meeting on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. She said that the party would not budge an inch from its stand on resignation from the assemblies and prime minister’s resignation.
On this occasion PTI leader Arif Alvi said “we are ready to remove government on November 30.”
