MADRID: Spanish footballer Cristiano Ronaldo outshines Lionel Messi by claiming three awards at the Spanish Professional Football League (LFP).
Real Madrid on Monday dominated the Spanish Professional Football League (LFP) Gala Awards for the 2013-14 season by capturing six awards.
Ronaldo, 29, won three out of six award for his club. He won best player, best forward and best goal award in La Liga while best defender award won by his team mate Sergio Ramos, best goal keeper award was given to Keylor Navas and Best Defensive Midfielder award won by Luke Modric of Real Madrid.
Athletico Madrid’s coach Diego Simeone was declared best coach while best attacking midfielder award was won by Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta.
Fair Play award won by Ivan Rakitic of Barcelona.
