PTI may abolish party president post

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Core Committee has decided to amend the party’s constitution to abolish the post of president.

According to reports, the decision was made during the Core Committee meeting held at Babi Gala residence of party chief Imran Khan.

It is to be mentioned here that the President’s post was specially created in PTI after Javed Hashmi joined the party. As Hashmi has recently  parted ways with the PTI over difference with party leadership, the PTI decided to abolish the specially-carved out post of President.
